Our Council Key Events and Activties
Knights Kalendar - Upcoming Events
Our Council normally has three meetings per month—Officers Meeting on the 1st Wednesday, Business Meeting for all members on the 2nd Wednesday, and a Member and Family Social on the 4th Wednesday of every month. We sponsor fundraisers and other events throughout the year to help support our parish and local community. To name a few:
- Pancake Breakfasts
- Blood Drives
- Youth Free Throw Contest
- Golf Tournament
- “Kids-to-Camp” Fundraiser
- Oktoberfest Celebration
- Italian Dinner (for pictures of our 5th Annual Italian Dinner held on April 27th, 2013)
- Christmas Party for Under-Privileged Families

2011 "Under the Stars" Dinner and Auction for Kids-to-Camp Fundraiser: Council Members served as waiters, bus boys, and kitchen help.

The funds from our kids-to-camp fundraiser are used to send under-privileged children to camp for a full expense paid week at St. Joseph’s Youth Camp near Flagstaff, Arizona.
The cost of the camp is just under $500 per child. We had been averagingsending just over 10 children to camp per year. We are proud to report that in 2011 we doubled that number. Because of the success of our fundraiser we were able to send 23 children to camp. A lot of work by the members of our Council made that possible—well worth the effort. Just look at the smiles on the children who attend the St Joseph’s Youth Camp.
