Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we come closer and closer to the dedication of Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, I am excited to update you on the latest way for you to be a major part of the Grotto for many years to come. I want to invite you to be a part of a lasting legacy at St. Bernadette Catholic Church and St. John XXIII Catholic School while supporting our parish family and our students by participating in the Commemorative Brick Paver Program. The campaign was launched in January of 2023 and the pavers to be installed will help create a beautiful, commemorative walkway in front of Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto.

Your custom engraved brick paver(s) will be inscribed with your choice of sentiment or names and added to the walkway. Think how excited the family members and friends will be as they walk past their own name or that of someone they love. Your involvement will help pave the way for future generations! All proceeds from this program will directly benefit our parish and school with 100% of the proceeds being returned directly to our community.

How can you get involved? All you have to do is sponsor a paver and have it engraved to your specifications. You can choose from three different sizes of pavers and three different levels of giving: a 6” x 12” paver, a 12” x 12” paver, or 12” x 18” paver. Levels of participation range from $150 to $1000 depending on the size and location of your paver(s). Your paver(s) can be placed in one of three zones. Zone One enables you to have your paver near the grotto. Zone Two pavers are closer to the grotto and Zone Three pavers are located nearest to the grotto.

Your paver can be personalized with your choice of name or message, or dedicate a paver for a special occasion like Mother’s Day, an anniversary, a birthday, or a memorial for a loved one. Pavers can be inscribed with Scripture quotes, names of family members and loved ones, parish organizations or businesses. Once you decide how you would like your paver to read, you are welcome to proceed to the electronic form found on our website (www.saintbernadette.com) to place your order or you can stop by the Grotto Gift Shop for more information. Finally, a proof will be made available for your approval before the actual paver is engraved and placed by the grotto.

I am giving thanks to God for all the great things He is doing through the amazing people of St. Bernadette and St. John XXIII.
