Legion of Mary

Have you ever heard of the Legion of Mary? The Legion of Mary is the largest apostolic organization of lay men and women in the Catholic Church, with well over 3 million active members in almost every country in the world.

It has been approved by the last 6 Popes and has been active in the United States since 1931. To join the Legion of Mary is to become part of a spiritual army fighting beneath the standard of Mary for the salvation of souls using the powerful weapons of prayer and charitable works. The Legion of Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes Praesidium was recently reestablished here at St. Bernadette.
